Edward Taylor M.D.
Growing up, Dr. Edward Taylor never intended to be a physician. As a student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, he initially studied engineering. That all changed, however, after working with an orthopedic surgeon as part of his research studies. Fascinated by the work the surgeon did and the interactions he had, Dr. Edward Taylor realized he wanted more than just conducting research—he wanted a career focused on directly interacting with people and helping them.
With a new goal in mind, Dr. Taylor went on to attend medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He later completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Today, he is an internal medicine doctor at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
Dr. Taylor is dedicated to creating solutions for difficult medical problems. His mission is to create treatment plans for his patients that will lead to fewer problems down the road. He accomplishes this by establishing strong communication with each person. Honest and open communication allows for both the parties to freely share information with each other, and enables Dr. Taylor to effectively create a regimen that works for each individual.
