Sheila Isaacson M.D.
Dr. Sheila Isaacson’s curiosity has always been a fundamental facet of her personality. Growing up, she was always the type of person that needed to know how the world worked and why, especially when it came to science. This, coupled with her love of helping people, was essential in her decision to study medicine.
Falling in love with pediatrics during her studies, Dr. Isaacson completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and her residency at the University of Utah. Today, she is a pediatrician at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
When it comes to patient relationships, Dr. Isaacson is a firm believer in teamwork. Caring deeply for each of her patients, it is essential for her to work closely with parents in order to decide the best course of action in a child’s treatment. It is also her mission to inform and educate not only parents, but children as well. She believes in the importance of teaching children to be their own caregivers and allowing them to have a say in their care upon reaching a certain age.
In her free time, Dr. Isaacson enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves being outdoors, and frequently spends her time tending to her garden.
