Why did you decide to become a physician?

I was always interested in science and in college I did my best in subjects related to the medical field.

What are your clinical areas of interest?

I specialize in obstetrics and gynecology and enjoy both fields, however, obstetrics has always been my favorite. I have recently taken an active interest in osteoporosis in women and I am reading bone density tests for the Women's Center.

What is your philosophy of patient care?

I am easygoing as a physician and really enjoy just talking to my patients about their families and their interests. I believe in preventive care and enjoy seeing my patients every year.

How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)

My wife thinks I have only one hobby - golf! I would probably agree. I also enjoy volunteering at my church and spending time with my wife and two grown daughters and their husbands.
