Why did you decide to become a physician?

My home town family physician was a great inspiration and role model for me and made me want to become a physician.

What are your clinical areas of interest?

My clinical areas of interest are general OB-GYN and all aspects of female health care.

What is your philosophy of patient care?

I always keep in mind that if it was my family member that was sick, we would want answers or test results as soon as possible. I believe that patients should always be treated as if they are your own family.

How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)

I enjoy all outdoor activities.

Provide an interesting anecdote about you.

When I finished my training, my family really thought I should return to my home town of Hastings, NE, to practice. When I went to interview, one of the people I met was an old teacher who wanted to be my first patient. Right then, I decided that Omaha looked like a lot better place to practice medicine.
