Why did you decide to become a physician?

I have always wanted to be a physician and I have never had a second thought about my career choice. It is a pleasure to care for people. I enjoy talking to them and hearing their life stories.

What are your clinical areas of interest?

My interests include general gynecology, medical and surgical gynecology and minimally invasive surgery.

What is your philosophy of patient care?

I prefer to act as an expert adviser for my patients. I give my assessment of the problem and the options for treatment. I always let my patients decide on what treatment options they will choose.

How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)

I enjoy woodworking, gardening, reading (fiction and non-fiction), 19th-century art and personal business management.
