Why did you decide to become a physician?

As a child I always did well in the sciences. After a social justice trip to Grand Coteau, Louisiana, as a college student, I saw the strong need for medical care and found my calling.

What are your clinical areas of interest?

Obstetrics and Gynecology

How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)

What free time? My 4 kids keep me on my toes. Downtime for me is spent practicing yoga, reading a good book or knitting.
