Why did you decide to become a physician?

I wanted to learn all about how the body works. I wanted to work with people. Science was always my favorite subject in school. Lastly I was a farm kid and I knew driving a tractor 3 miles an hour for 8 hours a day wasnt enough mental exercise for me.

What are your clinical areas of interest?

Soft tissue injuries, sports medicine, helping people treat their own medical problems with healthy lifestyle and exercise.

What is your philosophy of patient care?

The patients personal needs come first. Use the least medicine possible. Teach healthy lifestyles.

How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)

Bicycle racing, waterskiing, singing country music. Raising kids.
